St. Joseph St. Thomas Parish

St. Joseph St. Thomas is a large parish in Staten Island that wanted to create a clean, professional looking website that would be a useful resource for its community to learn about programs within its parish. 

The new site essentially 4 sites in one - with each major part of the parish (School, Parish, Religious Education and Sports Programs) each having its own subsite.  The site is kept current by selected members with news and announcement postings.

Site Features:

  • 4 sites in one - with each major part of the parish (School, Parish, Religious Education and Sports Programs) each having its own subsite, managed by various "content owners."
  • Site design using Parish colors and pictures of recognizable elements of the Parish.
  • Rotating picture galleries with zoom-view and the ability to create special gallery pages to feature pictures from school events, sporting events, and other parish functions.
  • Blog posts and edits can be done by administrators on the blog pages themselves--no need to use a full content management system for a quick update.
